Arrest Made in Stolen SBI Car Case

Authorities made an arrest in the case of a State Bureau of Investigation vehicle that was stolen from a Garner home last Friday.

Wake County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested David Owen Fisher, 47, of 2018 Bedrock Lane in Raleigh and charged him with possession of stolen property.

The 2001 Oldsmobile, property of the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation, was stolen from 1018 Lawndale Street just after midnight on Friday, Feb. 13. Authorities responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on Wellhouse Road at approximately 10:30 a.m. Their investigation led to Fisher’s arrest.

Garner Police Department investigators are working with Sheriff’s investigators to determine who is responsible for larceny of the vehicle.
