Garner will be bustling with activity this weekend with two major events.
Relay for Life
First, Relay for Life will be held at Lake Benson Park Friday evening through Saturday morning. The opening ceremonies start at 6 p.m., and at 6:30 survivors take the first lap. The event, which celebrates its 11th year in Garner and 25th year nationally, raises money for the American Cancer Society. It enjoys particular success in Garner, where teams raised more than $135,000 last year. For more information, visit www.GarnerRelay.org.
Triangle Beach Music Festival
