“Whatcha think? Do I look like a TV detective or what? I’m Hoss – yep, after the character on TV’s ‘Bonanza.’ I’m the big boy of the coonhound litter.
“There is a bunch of us; pictured here with me are my sister Heidi (yes, another TV character) and my brother Henry. We were born sometime in April, and there are nine of us puppies plus our mom who was just pulled from the Wake County Animal Shelter. Mom won’t be available for a while, but we pups are ready now.
“So far, we have gotten all shots appropriate for our ages and are microchipped. We are still working on our housebreaking (It’s hard with nine of us) and our crate-training, but we can learn! My sister Helen has the prettiest amber eyes, while my other sister Happy is the only black and tan pup of the litter (you can see their pictures on the Paw Prints Web site: pawprintsrescue.org/dogs_puppies.html).
“Because we are hounds, we will need to have a fenced-in yard as we will definitely follow our noses wherever they take us. And another dog to play with and learn from would be wonderful! If you think you can give one or, better yet, two of us a good home, please contact Paw Prints Animal Rescue either by phone (919-772-9107) or via e-mail at info@pawprintsrescue.org. We will be waiting for you!”
