Patricia Lane, 56, passed away Friday, June 26 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Lane was born in Rolesville, N.C., and was the daughter of the late C.H. Bowden and Marie Williams Bowden.
She is survived by her husband, D.J. Lane; son, Willy Hill (and wife April); stepdaughter, Michelle Lane; sister, Anita Brewer; grandchildren, Toni Franklin, Jenna Hill, Mckenzie Hill and Jessica Hill; three aunts; and several cousins.
Lane was a graduate of Youngsville High School and Vance Granville Community College. She worked as a recruiter with the N.C. Department of Information Technology Services, where she held many close friendships.
The family received friends Monday, June 29 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Clayton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at 3801 Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh.
