Ann Nelms Upchurch, 73, of 3005 Austin Drive died Sunday, Aug. 23.

A native of Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Nelms and Nell Anderson.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 27 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Burial was held at Raleigh Memorial Park.

Surviving are daughters Cindy Upchurch Medlin of Raleigh and Alice Howington (and husband Jimmy) of Garner; son Robert Upchurch (and wife Cheryl) of Knightdale; sister Barbara Jean Stevenson of Chesapeake, Va.; grandchildren Lisa Roberts, Candy Medlin, Scott Medlin, Michael Upchurch, Crystal Medlin and Jamie Howington; and great-grandchildren Madison and Haleigh Roberts.
