New construction, businesses for August

Business construction and upgrades have continued this summer in Garner.

Here is a map with showing some of these business. Red markers indicate a new store open for business; blue indicates an existing business with upgrades.

  • Hess/Wilco has completed renovations to their Coffee Shop at their Jones Sausage Road/Hwy. 40 location
  • Consumer Source, an electrical distributor, has completed construction at Lincoln Park South
  • Right Time Kids, a drop?off daycare, is complete and open for business at Aversboro Square
  • Cabinets and More, a cabinet showroom, is complete and open for business on Fifth Ave.
  • Thrift Store, 228 Forest Hills Drive in the Forest Hills Shopping Center, is open for business
  • The Internet Café, located at 214 Forest Hills Drive in the Forest Hills Shopping Center, is open for business

    Any word on when Shuck ‘Em may open at White Oak? I’d love to see a real oyster bar here (RIP Sunny Side, Too), but the construction didn’t seem far along and of course, there is no website :-(
