Dog of the week: Chance

“Can we go for a ride, please? Please? I love to go for rides in the car. Running to the store, taking the kids to school, visiting Grandma — wherever you go, I would love to go with you, and I will sit patiently in the car until you come back.

“I’m Chance, a 3½-year-old male Spaniel mix. I had a home, but because of the economy my parents had to give me back. Now I am looking for a permanent home. I love to run and play with the other foster dogs and am respectful of cats. I am housebroken, neutered, microchipped and very sweet. I get so excited when you give me words of praise, and I would love to sleep in your bed if I am allowed. I love to play fetch and tug; and if you can’t take me with you when you run errands, I would do great when left in the house unattended — napping on the couch ‘til you get home!”

If you would like to adopt Chance, please come to the adopt-a-thons on Saturdays and Sundays at the Garner Towne Square PetSmart on Timber Drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or contact Paw Prints Animal Rescue either by phone (919-772-9107) or via e-mail at dogs@pawprintsrescue.org.

  1. Aww Chance, you are a cutie pie! Tank and Delta sleep in the bed, too ;-) They’ve heard it’s a doggy no-no, but they refused to leave!
