William James Hair, 74, of Willow Spring passed away Monday, Dec. 7 at his home.

A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 11 at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery.

William retired after 28 years of faithful service to the Department of Corrections as a maintenance supervisor.

He is survived by sons William James Hair Jr., of Willow Spring and Willie Jesse Hair (and wife Joy) of Louisburg; grandchildren Kenny Dockery, Keith Hair and Brandie Pierce; special friend Ingrid Matenge; and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by daughter Wilma Joyce Hair.
