ConAgra might decide soon on future of its Garner plant

ConAgra executives might determine what will happen to their Garner facility at a board meeting this Thursday, reports the N&O’s business blog.

But Garner officials and ConAgra spokespeople are keeping mum for now.

“They’re having a routine board meeting on the 18th and we’ve been getting calls from employees that a decision is coming,” said Tony Beasley, economic development director for the town. He says that he doesn’t expect news this week.
