Trevor Harrison, True North Church’s new youth pastor, reads The Garner Citizen from all the way in Kenya, Africa. Harrison as well as Pastor Jon McClarnon and other members of True North were in the Kerio Valley to scout out an abandoned mission station in hopes of bringing more people back there in the summer to start working on and building facilities.

If you’re planning to take a trip or a vacation, whether it’s halfway around the world or just to the North Carolina coast, make sure you bring along a copy of The Garner Citizen and snap a picture of you or someone you know reading it. Send a high-quality copy to submit@garnercitizen.com, and we’ll publish it in our regular “GCNT around the world” feature. Help us spread news about Garner!
