The following incidents were reported to the Garner Police Department between Monday, Jan. 25 and Monday, Feb. 1:

Robberies

Police are looking for an unknown man who forced a woman into her Garner apartment at 518 Lenoxplace Circle and assaulted her about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan.27. The suspect fled the after realizing there were other people in the residence, police said. No one was injured during the incident. A digital camera worth $300 was stolen. The suspect is described as being between 20 and 30 years old, weighing 150 to 170 pounds, standing between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches. He was wearing black baggy pants, a black shirt, a black baggy coat, a ski mask and black gloves, according to authorities. Persons with information about the crime listed above are encouraged to call Garner Police at 919-772-8810. Persons with information leading to the arrest of the offender are eligible to receive a cash reward.

Burglaries

Burglars broke into a home on Jones Street between Friday, Jan. 15 and Friday, Jan. 22. They stole $430 worth of personal property, including sneakers and a space heater.

A burglar broke into a home on the 100 block of Autumn Pine Court between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25. He or she stole three laptops, coins and a watch totaling more than $3,000.

Larceny from motor vehicle

A thief or thieves broke into a vehicle parked outside the Wingate Inn at 1542 Mechanical Boulevard between 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 and 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25. They stole a license plate valued at $25.

A thief or thieves broke into a vehicle parked outside the Walmart on 4500 Fayetteville Road between 9:43 a.m. and 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28. They stole a generator worth $1,200.
