RushHour Karting raises $3K for Haiti

RushHour Karting recently held a Race for Haiti event at their facility, raising more than $3,000 to donate to the American Red Cross earthquake relief fund.

Adam Saad, owner of RushHour Karting, made a check presentation to representatives of the American Red Cross in the amount of $3,040. Accepting on behalf of the Red Cross was Barry Porter, regional executive director with the Triangle Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

“In this economy, everybody’s business is down, mine included; but I have a roof over my head, food on my table and clothes on my back — these poor souls have very little,” Saad said.
