Safety board agrees to recommend changes to gas policy makers

The U.S. Chemical Safety Board agreed Thursday night to a proposal that recommends tighter safety requirements for gas-line purging. The vote comes after last June’s explosion at the ConAgra plant that killed four people and injured 67.
