Brenda Joyce Johnston, 68, died Monday, March 8 at Rex Healthcare.

She was born in Indiana to Victor Floyd Tuley and Agnes Lee Tuley. She is survived by her husband, Bernie L. Johnston, and two sons, Gerald Arthur Johnston of Raleigh and Robert Joseph Johnston of Boonville, Ind. She is also survived by two sisters, Jenny Caldwell of Evansville, Ind. and Kitty Joe Lee; a brother, Billy Tuley of Princeton, Ind.; a grandchild, Joseph Lee Johnston; and a step-grandchild, Matthew Hunter Winstead.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Garner. Burial will follow the service at Fellowship Community Cemetery in Angier. Family will receive family and friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner. Condolences can be made to bryan-leefuneralhome.com
