“Hi, I’m Teddy, and I am not much of a talker. So I think I’m gonna let my foster dad tell you all about me:
‘Teddy has a sweet disposition. Once he knows you, he’s a cannonball of kisses, but he is a little timid on the introduction and easily startled. He is very curious and wants to be everywhere you are. A solid furball at 63 pounds, he loves playing ball and talking with other dogs. He’s a good barker in the sense that he’ll tell you when he hears or sees something going on but does not carry on without reason. Teddy has come a long way from the early days of his rescue. As a 5-year-old Australian shepherd mix he needs room to run and really wants to please, even though he is not sure how. Teddy is in good health, up-to-date on all his shots, neutered and housebroken and is very affectionate. We have been working on his social skills because he wants to meet and play with everyone; but having been the big dog in a small yard, he has some issues with dominance and territory. Teddy loves to play ball and is doing well with the new commands. Please help us find Teddy a home where he can live his new life with all the gusto in his bones.
‘Come to the adopt-a-thons on Saturdays at the Garner Towne Square PetSmart on Timber Drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or contact Paw Prints Animal Rescue either by phone (919-772-9107) or via e-mail at dogs@pawprintsrescue.org and tell them you would like to share your life with Teddy.’”
