John Glenn Sellers, 47, passed away Friday, March 5 at Emory University Hospital, Midtown in Atlanta, Ga.

Survivors include his mother, Shelby Wallace, and her husband, Marvin, of Garner; his father, John Sellers, of Smithfield; a significant other, Dave; his daughter, Anita, and her husband, James Hollfifeld Jr., of Raleigh; a sister, Lynn Lane, and her husband, M.L., of Garner; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Johnny enjoyed spending time in his garden and loved his seven dogs.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Alliance Church in Angier. Burial will follow at Selma Memorial Garden in Selma. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner.
