I am speaking from the heart when I say, “Don’t close our Garner library.” We all depend on it. I know I sure do, and I let our higher-ups know it too: Congressman David Price and Senators Burr and Hagan. I am giving them an earful of how it is going to be without a library in the town of Garner.
I grew up here, went to school here and did all my civic work in Garner. To close that branch would hurt not only me but the people I help who cannot help themselves.
Keep your hands off our library.
