The following incidents were reported to the Garner Police Department between Monday, April 5 and Thursday, April 8:
Theft from motor vehicle
A thief broke into a vehicle at 2002 Ford Gates Drive Monday, April 5 and stole a DVD player valued at $650 and a GPS valued at $250.
A thief or thieves broke into a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Home Depot at 2540 Timber Drive Thursday, April 8. They stole $12,000 worth of electronic equipment, including an overhead projector and surround-sound systems.
Drug possession
According to police reports, Officer R. Egan arrested a suspect for drug possession at the intersection of Junction Boulevard and Garner Station Boulevard Monday, April 5.
Larceny
A thief or thieves stole $415 worth of clothing from the Kohl’s located at 185 Shenstone Blvd. Tuesday, April 6.
Hit and run
According to police reports, a victim’s car sustained $1,500 in damage after being struck by another vehicle Tuesday, April 6. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene.
Embezzlement
The Blockbuster at 2670 Timber Drive reported that an employee stole $800 worth of videos and other items from the store Wednesday, April 7.
The Best Buy at 120 Shenstone Blvd. reported to police that an employee had stolen three iPhones worth more than $1,800 Thursday, April 8.
