After discussing a possible anti-tethering ordinance in recent months, leaders of a town committee decided Monday, June 7 to bring the matter before the full Council at its July 20 meeting.
Council member Kathy Behringer, who helps head the committee, said the town’s law and finance committee could not reach a conclusion on whether to change town rules after several meetings and wants to get the opinions on the matter from other local officials.
“We just felt like we wanted more eyes on it,” Behringer said.
