JANITORIAL CONTRACT
The Town of Garner is accepting bids, in accordance with General Statutes 143-129, for Janitorial Services.  Specifications and bid documents may be obtained from the Town of Garner, Purchasing Office located at 900 Seventh Avenue, Building “A”, Garner, N.C.  between the hours of  8 A.M. and 5 P.M. (919) 772-4688.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. April 22, 2008 at the Town of Garner Board Room located at 900 Seventh Avenue, Building “B”.  A walk-through of the Town’s facilities will follow.
Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Manager until 2:00 P.M. April 29, 2008.  A meeting in the Board Room will follow to publicly open the sealed bids.
The Town of Garner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

RECREATION LEADER - AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS – Part-time, 20 hrs/wk. Seeking leaders to supervise children (K-12) weekdays after school at the Avery Street Recreation Center.  Option to assist with pre-school programs 2-3 evenings per week until 7pm.  High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with children desired. $7.98+/hr. 
 
SCOREKEEPERS – Part-time. Seeking responsible individuals to keep accurate scoring records and operate electronic scoreboard during softball and/or basketball games.  Must be at least 16 years old.  Previous experience preferred. Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Flexible schedule.  $7.59+/hr. 

SPORTS CAMP INSTRUCTOR – Part-time, 2 evenings per week and Saturday mornings. Seeking motivated instructors for summer youth sports camps (ages 4-9) at the Avery Street Recreation Center.  Previous baseball or basketball coaching experience preferred. $7.98+/hr depending on qualifications.
